Summer flew by, and it was a busy one. I was hoping to earn some money by September 1st, but it didn't happen. At work, I did everything – including washing the microwave, the fridge, and even the public restroom! But one of the managers forged my application, so I didn't get paid. Yes, there was an investigation, and they apologized to me. But I still didn't get the money. We worked on English over the summer, and I spent a lot of money on a tutor. Turns out it was worth it – now they're in second grade. I hope they'll be ready for the curriculum. We also went swimming. We worked on emotional intelligence with the kids with a child psychologist who uses dogs. We also did a tiny bit for our health. I didn't focus on my own stuff or health at all. There was absolutely no time – so many activities with the kids and work. I somehow managed to get the kids ready for school. My ex-husband visited 4 times over the summer. He was getting his girlfriend's kids ready for school. That's why he still hasn't paid me for August. Other people's kids come first. I look at him like he's some kind of strange creature. You'd be hard-pressed to find a bigger worm. The last time he visited, he was walking the kids and called me (their mom) a "horned one." I appreciated the "joke."
